Default Ecollar trainers & Clicker Trainers Unite

Ok, was reading some comments on the 2013 Shot Show & Dogtra has a product called the iq Cliq. Has a built in clicker for those times you're feeling happy. "Whoops Edge, no, no, that was really good; I meant to push the other button"

I guess in that case, CC means clicker conditioning!

any collar with a beep or vibrate feature can be used in the same manner as a clicker

Yup!! It's pretty simple; you could use the clicker in a negative manner as well as a positive. You just have to adjust what it means. Dogtra is just finding a way to sell ice to an Eskimo IMHO.

They make a good product, IMO. I would rank them up there with TT.
Just seems to me they are targeting different group of people. Pretty smart if you ask me.

The normal Dogtra collar has a pager which I find useful. Still use the nick (IP) out farther distances & for cast refusals. Really like the Dogtra products.

A friend who's a Dogtra rep. told me Dogtra has a bunch of new stuff coming out; they've really updated their multidog systems; for hounds (the remote lights up the color of each transmitter,, collars light blinks what color it is), has a beeper & vibrator, and they went to a round remote akin to TT. He said they're working on updating it for the retriever set, and should have a version out that the reps will soon be testing.

I was making my post in jest, I realize Dogtra makes good products, & I also have vibrate & tone on my collar. I just thought the clicker on the ecollar seemed like a novelty. I'll try to re-think my posts better.
