Thread: Atlantic flyway. Are you seeing birds?

    Average to slightly above average number if geese on MD eastern shore. Saw first flow of snows last week also. Some areas in the midshore have above average numbers of ducks. September teal was slow with little water in ponds but October duck was very good. As always, right place - right time.

    We've been pretty short on doves and ducks. Had a couple dozen blue wing teal in one of our ponds, but beyond that, not much to speak of.

    There's plenty of geese around, even though the big flights havent arrived yet.

    It doesn't matter much until the season reopens in 3 weeks. Hopefully things pick up by then.-Paul
    there's no good reason to fatten up a retriever.
