Default It's the "Bad Apple" insurance companies!!!

Now he is blaming the insurance companies of being "Bad Apples". I do believe that pre-existing conditions should be covered though. Blaming the insurance companies for doing something legal is BS. I have been guilty of badmouthing insurance companies. I just don't like the govt telling business how they have to operate to make a profit. If their practices are illegal and unscrupulous, there are channels that will correct that. Just stay out of the way and let businesses run their business.

In one breath you are saying the lobbist own washington...agreed...but who do you think owns the lobbist?

Oil Companies, Banks and Insurance Companies all have taken advantage of folks. Their functions are driven by making money and the folks that run them are given the responsibility of making money, but many times making money gets in the way of doing right. There are many companies that try to do right and are accountable when things go wrong, but many use their power and influence to not be accountable.

EXXON is a perfect example of not being accountable when they spilled the oil in Alaska. Little slap on the hand for $500,000,000 years after the damage to the folks up there.

BP has a much different story because the sitting president was not going to let them not assume responsibility.

So keep sideing with big business and see where you end up.

That 500 million in today's money is a couple of billion. Also, containment and clean up technology was advanced due to the Alaskan spill. As disappointed as many Democrats were that there wasn't any long term damage from the BP leak, today's fisheries and marine life in the gulf is thriving! We know that because gulf marine life is the most thoroughly tested and examined marine life in the world!

You know the really sad thing is they keep saying the cancelled plans are "junk". Our current plan is better than more than 70% of the new plans in our state overall. Yet CANCELLED since the ER copay increased at some point from $100 to $150. What a crock.

That is the liberal talking point. Some on here have already spewed that sentiment a couple times . They all fall in line like good little followers!!
