    Default SRS Crown National

Anyone else unproductive at work today??? haha I've been watching the live cast of the SRS in Huntsville all day, pretty nice dogs!

Question: what are those "hexbirds" or dummies they are using?? They dont look like any of the products I see on Avery's site, or anywhere for that matter..(head of the duck doesn't swing, its in a fixed position directly attached to the body)... any idea?

www.superretrieverseries.com is the URL for the website, the live stream is right on the homepage!

They might be done for the day, but make sure to watch the rest of the weekend! They do a great job of coverage and camera work, you can really see the test.

How in the world did I miss this going on. I wish I would of realized it earlier today. I work in Huntsville and needed to kill several hours away from the office today. I would of drove over to Jones Farm and watch some dog work. I'll have to check it out. Are they posting the scores or cuts on the website or forum? I can't seem to find it. Thanks.

Those are the Drake bumpers. SRS has been using them since 2012.

The regional SRS winners come together for a national champ or something like that.

Hit the nail on the head.
"Force fetch isn't about retrieving as much as it is conditioning a dog to handle pressure, in a very controlled environment. It's about putting a dog in the position of having to figure out how to turn off pressure by finding the correct response. This translates into numerous areas in training." Sharon Potter.
