    So a couple of questions:

    1. How far away will it work?
    2. Will it go up and down?
    3. Are you willing to share design?

I see Dogra Electonics and a gate piston with the stickman on a pivot point. Looks like it goes up and down and works as far as dogtra electronics work???

Will go up and down. Works off of dogtra or tri-trionics. I built one for gunners up so I'm not going to give out how I made it.

That might work happy. But the trick is making it go up and down.

Yes I can imagine. I've seen the remote backing dogs used for pointers. They are junk-o-la... the gate actuator you used looks much more heavy duty. Seen some models (auto gate opening parts)with a key-fob style remote although, I have no idea of the distance those would work but, they have both open and close functions on the key fob itself. Models work with 12V and have a solar cell for recharging them where power is not easily available. Gate remotes Remotes probably wouldn't work not far enough for those which would use a white stickman.
