What are you saying Franco? I thought you liked Jindal? Is there evidence of wrongdoing on the part of the appointees Or are they unqualified to sit on these various boards?

Jindal is on my short list for potential POTUS. I have always liked him, but if he's a crook then that changes.
It appears like influence peddling to me. I like Jindal but the fact that such a high percentage of his appointees have donated money to his campaign smells odd. And, I don't know the qualifications of those he appointed. They could be perfect for their jobs or just political hacks. When Jindal was first elected, he passed the toughest Ethics Laws in the land for state governments. Some are suggesting that he is above his own Ethics Laws.
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us to no end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

You need to learn how to quote, your posts are confusing -

You have heard of Teapot Dome - & the ongoing scandal of oil from public lands w/o paying the fee. Or the latest in loans to contributors to pursue dubious & generally deficient business models. Or the earmarks so earmarked individuals can be employed.

Please don't try to come off as gullible (read stupid) on this forum. All money donated to campaigns is for a reason, that from a legitimate business is probably more straightforward than most., IMO.
