Default Which Internet Browser Is Your "Go-to" Browser? (GDGish)

According to statistics, Chrome is the most widely used Web Browser. I am in disbelief, I think most folks use Internet Explorer.

Of course, I am old, likely it is the young folk using Chrome, and it is the young folk who surf the 'net.

But still. I'm in disbelief. What do y'all use (most of the time)?

I am a Mac user, Safari is my go-to browser. Most stuff just works if I use Safari.

    Thanks for your thought@

Safari. If I run into something that doesn't work, I'll try firefox or chrome and one of them will inevitably work out.

Chrome in Windows; hadn't opened IE for years. Now that I switched to Mac I like Safari's integration with the interface.

I use Firefox, Safari, & Chrome. In our department we have the fewest problems with Firefox on all platforms and the most with Internet Explorer, but they all work most of the time. A few years ago I did some web development for a computational site. Browser technology is a nightmare.

    This seems about right.

The sites I have use for work purposes unversally support IE 9. Some support other browsers but it is easier to use one browser all the time as that is where all my favorites and saved passwords reside.

Used Firefox for awhile but had a problem upgrading so went to Safari. Now Safari has all my info so I stick with it.

Thanks for the responses. Usage by RTFers who voted (68) are not drastically different than elsewhere, in that Chrome and Firefox are popular.
