Andy when I was in Vermont and even here in Montana I used Toyo and I bought10 ply tires due to rocks on the back roads. Jim just purchased these for his F150

I plow snow in the winter. I find BF Goodrich All Terrain A/T tires to be the best in snow.

The BF Goodrich All Terrain are pretty much the best all round, all condition traction tire I ever had on my trucks. My only complaints with them were they were a little rough and noisy on the highway. And a wee bit more expensive. I've had several sets of Toyo Open Country's and was very pleased with them. They were "almost" as good in the snow and mud as the All Terrain's, but not quite. If I ran my truck mostly on back roads or a lot of off road use the All Terrains would be on my truck all year round.
