Default A Boy Named Sue "Cash"

Cash is a 7 week old male. I have never kept a male in house. Was wondering if anyone has had or have a prob with males marking their territoryin the house. I know he is young but one day he will grow up. Thanks for Any advice!

I once had a Pampered Chef party and all the ladies said, "Let the puppy in, he's so cute". Well I did and he proceeded to go an lift his leg on one of the ladies sitting on the couch". After admonishing him severely, never had another issue. He's 8 now and has had full reign of the house since he was 3 months old.

I've had many boy dogs that always had the run of the house. I've never had a marking issue.

Just potty train him as normal. If another dog marks in the house, be sure to thoroughly clean the area with an enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle to get rid of the odor.

I have 3 intact male dogs, as well as intact females. 2 of my boys have each made one marking attempt when there was a bitch in heat in the house- correct just like you would any other infraction and move on. It was a one time thing, they learned. One male has never had an accident (or 'on purpose') of any sort in the house.

I had one of my males attempt to mark when he was about a year old. He tried it once.
After a tune up I have had no problems.
