    Default Gasoline Prices

Such hypocracy among you! When gasoline was high you blamed the POTUS, but now that prices are low, no one is saying anything positive towards the POTUS for getting the prices down. So if the president is responsible when they are high, why shouldn't he get credit for lower prices.

I think all of you should use this post to thank the president for your lower fuel cost

Tell me what the price of gasoline and diesel was when he took office and then I will thank him if they are now lower. If they are not then your post is just so much more BS.

Much higher than they are now. I can't remember a $2 handle on gasoline.

But the bigger point here is that Obama has nothing to do with the price of gasoline, but if you are going to blame him for political gain, I find it only fair to praise him when prices are low.

Yor memory must be worse than mine. Gas prices Jan 1, 2009 was about $2.65/gal. Today over $3.00/gal. Maybe this will refresh your memory.

But why were gas prices $2.65 when Obama got elected?

Oh, that's right. There was a meltdown of the world economy.

Anyone recall what they where shortly before the meltdown?

    Probably not...

Menmon make the statement and it was false, pure and simple. Even your post recognizes it.

it's almost like we went back in time 6-7 years and the roles have been reversed. Calling for Bush's head because he was from that thar Texas state and had a ton of oil buddies manipulating the market. I recall so many liberals calling conservatives idiots for not opening their eyes. my how times have changed.
