This weekend was a special one for Blitz and me. As a team we had our thousand point run at Coastal Empire HRC. It is funny how those little ribbons can mean so much. When Blitz picked up the last mark of the land series clean, I had tears in my eyes. He is ten and his eyesight is not quite as sharp in low light cluttered back grounds. To go for the thousand was a decision I made last spring. He is in great shape and totally loves the game. We have had a great run. On his way to the thousand, we only failed two Finished tests. Several friends helped put points on Blitz while I was judging or couldn't run him. Thanks to Kenny Girot, Bart Posey and Linda Culliton. Thanks to all my friends for throwing marks, planting blinds and all the other help. This is a team sport and my team is truly a great one. Thanks to all.
