Default So, Who Has Signed Up????

The many here who tout the virtues of ACA, how many of you have flocked to the site and signed up?

Or perhaps you could just trumpet the success stories you know of???????

RK, kinda like how obama touted one ACA successful story of the single mom who was able to get insurance, oh wait that didn't turn out so good! Just a little bit of egg on his face, but it's the insurance companies who are at fault. I would imagine most of the liberal, elitist on RTF will not have anything to do with obamacare but will continue to beat the drum that it is such a good thing for the masses. I wonder how many of them if any have had their policies cancelled. Have any of them been put in the situation of 118% increase for less coverage? How many of them have been sent to the position of finding $500 more per month in the family budget for lower overall coverage and increased total financial exposure?
Increased " required" benefits that you can never use is not the same as benefits you hope you will never need.
I hope we will never need to use the coverage we had for cancer, stroke, heart attack etc. I know we will never use maternity, child dental etc etc.

Interesting. I always thought that field trials was a rich man's game. I just the other day added up what I spent on the dog game last year. It turns out that I spent more that 4 times as much on health insurance policies. Hmmm. What's the rich man's game again???

I have the same policy, I think, that I have had for the last 17+ years - it will cost me the same next year but my pills will require a little more monthly outlay. I did not ask for the government to buy my pills, but once it's in place you have to participate to protect yourself.

But I'll leave you with this as i'm getting close to that stage, maybe .

Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. A student nurse found an elderly gentleman already dressed & sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need any help to leave the hospital.

After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly agreed to let me wheel him to the elevator. On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him. "I don't know" he said "she's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown".

Wait till next year when the employer mandate kicks in, I believe that this is just the spark that started the forest fire.
