Crap now I don't know what to do LOL
Get the Hillman puppy DVD. It is worth every penny. I have a 7 month old fire breather that is rock steady using the hillman approach.
Can't go wrong with Hillman. It even works with an older fire breather. Had a 14 month old that was a fire breather, creeper, and a breaking s.o.b. I started using Hillman's methods with him in training and it made it so much better. Now he is a rock steady beast who is a great dog. I'm using it in all of my training now and applying his concepts to other areas. Would recommend it for any trainer, regardless of experience level.

Remains to be seen. I don't have any experience actually using the Hillman stuff because it's 2 minus 2.5 weeks before pup arrives at the home. However, I've studied them and am amazed at how he breaks things down and makes them simple. And he explains balance... what to do if the pup is down and sulks, what to do if it's crazy and making you frazzled. I just finished watching land fundamentals and enjoyed his explanation of do's and don't's with the whistle at distance.
I am so impressed.
Haha Mitty it might just have to come down to that.
