Default Another quick question on Vest's

Going to buy my dog a vest as this winter appears to be gearing up to be a cold one. My questions is, I am thinking of getting the Cabelas vest with armor flex and I was wondering if I should get the regular vests or the one with the flotation pods?

we hunt a combo of swamps and big water.

    Thanks

I bought one of each. The flotation vest did run a little small so I had to exchange it for the next size up. Other than that not much difference in them. Don't think the dog will notice the extra padding in the flotation model. Jim

There is no benefit in the "flotation pods".

Even if they were needed, they don't displace enough water to make a difference.

Just received mine for my young Lab, Avery zipper and Velcro, I'm impressed with the fit and workmanship

I have a Avery vest, the flotation pods seem to high in the vest to do any good. I like my Avery vest except for the plastic tap on the zipper comes off.

My dog is 9 months and already in the 2XL size but I appreciate the offer. He is shaped funny at this point in his life though. His Chest is in between the 2X and 3X but his neck and waist measurements are smaller
