    Default First Time...

    I hunted without Dozer in 12 years. His body just can't do it anymore.

    But I did start a new hunting buddy.

    First shotgun (.410), first shot, first greenhead!

    Great weekend to be a father!

    These are field trials and the people involved largely don't understand a normal day much less a "normal days hunt".

    How old is that guy, my seven year old is getting my old .410 for xmas but the wife still has her doubts. California native

    great picture of you and Gage....dont even want to know about the look in Dozer's eyes when he got left at home, hits way too close to home....Glad you got out there with your son

    Ken, awesome pics with your son!! Neither of you will ever forget that moment, nor should you.

    Seems like just yesterday when my 22 year old son was 8 and shot his first mallard with his .410 and Bismuth shot. Still have the photo on my desk.

    It's a shame Dozer wasn't there to make the retrieve...
