What is the rule of thumb for suspending action in an AKC hunt test in the case of thunderstorms?
I once judged and a thunderstorm came up. The chairman insisted that we continue. Finally it got so bad that we pulled the birdboys and simply left. About 45 minutes later we were able to resume. Although no one was struck, the storm was way too close for my comfort.
Is there a rule of thumb for this?
