Here is Saturdays land test. ( Flinches FIRST HT ever...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFO68oLuoL8

A Ton of excitement.. Double with a walk up. Flyer is go bird.
Watch as Flinch returns with the flyer. Notice Honor Dog hasnt been excused! Notice the commotion, and Flinch returing to my side as much to say WTF!

    Honor dog stole Flinchies bird!!!

Judge was telling both us handlers, things were fine. Both Dogs were OK.. It was their fault for forgetting to excuse the Honor dog.

The Honor dogs handler is a popular member of this board. First time we met each other (Cool HUH!)

I didnt think Flinch would remember her memory bird after the distraction,, but all was well

I just dont get the camera!

Same I-Phone used to record that test, but when downloaded to You Tube, it downloads as full screen, like its sposed to.
I have played with settings and stuff on it this A.M.

I am really beggining to think its how the camera is held.

If you hold camera (I'll call it verticle) you get narrow screen,
If you hold camera horizontal, you get full screen, when you download to someplace.

I havent tried the editor on You tube yet.. Overly complicated for simple minded Gooser. Too Many shiney Balls hangin on the Christmas tree that distracts my focus.

    WOW!
    nice job both days
the first vid you posted, what is the moving white dot way back? a bird boy run amuck?
the second vid, seems a bit of pucker factor in that one! so who was that guy on honor?

Better get that girl sitting on those walkup marks or the Boss is going to ream your #**, nicely done by you not the judges.

Mark, I thought the same, but then could not really say if my own dog sat properly on the walk up because so much was happening so fast! As far as the honor, what a cluster that almost was. Good thing neither dog was the nasty type!

Yea I know! Can you just hear her!!!

I didnt even realise she didnt sit, till I watched the video days later...

We hadnt trained on walk ups very much at all..

    That nerve issue a mine

As far as judges go... I dont know HOW they keep all that stuff in order....

Stuff is gonna happen,, I was happy it really didnt seem to bother Flinch more than it did.
I thought for sure I would have to handle on the memory bird..

What I did notice, if you think of our training days Mark,, all the group is right at the line... very close to to where you run the dogs.
Flinch seemed to loose her place of where she was after she picked up birds,, and wanted to run towards the Gallery, instead of back to a Me.

She ran right in front of Carols dog... I mean within a couple a feet... I should have been more on the ball, and blown a whistle and sat her on the return, so everyone concerned could dismiss the Honor dog....

    Those damn nerves a mine.

Flinches Senior land test at Navahoe dam recreation area this past October..

    Couple a questions:

Video shot with I-Phone, so its hard to see the falls... is there a way to zoom on I Phone?

At end of Video,,, Diane rotates camera to try and get a landscape shot.. Didnt work! I thre my neck out watching it..

Is there a way to edit IPhone videos, to make the veiw a full screen, instead of the narrow screen we ended up with?
iOS 7 update has a camera zoom for videos. I believe but have not updated.

gooser nice job both you and Flinch! The honor dog seemed to be right in line with the go bird. In my first SH test the judges forgot to release us on honor and he was talking to the running dog's handler holding a bird right in my dogs face.....I thought we would be done cause he was gonna grab it right out of the judges hand, then the judge realized he did not release us, he said honor released and I blew a big sigh of relief!!!!!!
