I am sorry for your loss. Prayers headed your way.

So sorry for your loss. Having lost a dog recently I know how badly it hurts. Had been a few years since I lost my last one and forgot how just how bad it does hurt. Remember the good times.

So very sorry for your loss. There is no question in my mind that Chunk did all he could to hang on and be with you when he passed. The tears are flowing and my heart aches for you, your family and Chunk. We love them so much and they love us more......

Chunk was a very special dog that was a super smart boy. Bill Hillmann got to know my boy Chunk and all of the different tricks that I taught him to do when he came up to Iowa to train at a friend's place. I let Bill know today of my loss and he knew what my boy meant to me and gave me his heart felt condolences. I thank everyone that has posted a note on here. I feel so empty inside and lost without my sweet boy. I have a 5 year old female yellow lab that is stuck to me like glue now. She wanders over to where Chunk passed away and smells the area and looks confused. She was with a friend when Chunk passed away so its amazing that she could tell where Chunk passed away.

    Yellowlabfan,
My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out for ye and ye dogs. T'is plain to see there was an amazing connection between ye and Chunk. So hard to lose these amazing gifts that are sent to us with unconditional love. Godspeed Chunk, ye did ye master proud and served him with a love that no other could.

I lost an incredible companion gundog meself the day after me birthday this past September, so I relate to your loss more closely than I can adequately state in mere words.

Take solace and find peace in knowing Chunk is no longer in pain. He'll surely greet ye on the other side.

    Sincere regrets,
    Irishwhistler
