    Default What an awesome afternoon!

A guy I met at one of last years hunt tests and I met up again this afternoon to do a field hunt on NAPI.
We set up layout blinds in a cornfield we both have been seeing hundreds and hundreds of ducks feeding in.
Everything was set up and camo'd by 2:30 or so.
We just had one problem. The cattle in the field were just too curious and wouldn't leave.

We got up several times and ran them off. Finally, about 3:30 they left us alone, and within minutes the sky was full of ducks.
Both copper and trap made some awesome retrieves.
We had our limits within an hour.
Thanks for a great time Dave. We's gonna have alot more fun.

They were just too enthralled by all the birds flying!

No ducks in Oklahoma because they go around through Arkansas on one side and Texas/NM on the other.

Teahan, I've never met you, but I'm guessing I'd like you
In any regard if someone ever asked h
for an example of how a dog can enrich one's life, I'd think them reading your post history wouild paint a pretty good picture
    Enjoy!!

    Thank you.
    That was touching.
    Yes. He has.
He and I make a great team. We have bonded.
We aren't perfect. Me being the less perfect and uneducated trainer, he most likely will never make master, but we sure have a wonderful time going thru life, and hunting birds.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all.
