Default GDG New CD player for truck

The CD player in my truck has eaten a CD and won't give it up. Used to be you could get a nice stereo and put it in your self , or at least have your brother, or significant other put it in.
Where is the best place to go to get a new truck stereo , that will also put it in .
What is a good model these days? It has to be a decent unit and I want to be able to play my Ipod through it? I like rock and roll, ....loud and clear
    Thanks for any advice

I received a new radio for my truck last year on Christmas. It not only allows me to answer phone calls while driving, I can also listen to CDs and my iPod/iPhone through it. Willl got it for me at Best Buy and they did a great job of installing it and making sure my iPhone was "paired" properly with it.

THIS ^^^^^^...you can always find someone to install it...You might want to look into a unit that has a DVD pop up screen (not that you are going to watch it while driving) but some of the newer models from Kenwood include a back up mode to where if you have a rear camera installed you can see what is behind you, which comes in handy when you have dog boxes on board....I would also look for built in radios that have either Pandora,iHeart or SiriusXM installed, because you might need them on the road...also make sure the unit is compatible with either your iPhone or Android phone so you can play your music or audio books
