    Default Crate Cover for Travel

Anybody put a crate cover on their crate when flying their dog?

I am flying with my dog and have a Mud River Kennel cover on his crate. Should I remove it before using it in the flight? What are the pluses and minuses of keeping it on the crate? Has anyone else have experience with this?

    Thanks.

I would check with the airlines, they may not let you put a cover over the crate.

The airlines had me remove the cordura cover for my gun case even though it was custom fitted with velcro because they said it might snag on their conveyor belt
But when I put my bow case inside a padded golf bag cover they had no problem
