    Default San Diego Area

    New member here.

In a few weeks I am heading down to the San Diego area to visit family. I am bringing the dogs in hopes of doing some water training. Can someone please give me some areas to go training? I have never trained or trialed down in that area so it would be new for me.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Prado Dog Park, has public Training Grounds; and a Bunch of Water. Most of the dog people hang around there http://www.prado-recreation.com/. There are a few other areas I know San Diego has a club, but I don't know where they train, Most make the trip to Prado, for the technical ponds.

If you are driving and want to go east you can always go to Raney Ranch. They breed and train dogs and welcome anyone to come and train with them. Check out their website, raneyranchretreivers.com. This would be closer to SD then Prado.
