    Default Is there a place to look up dog blood lines online

    Hello my dog is akc registered but i can't find out anything about the bloodlines he is my first papered dog and I don't know if this is possible I know I can go online and find my horses bloodlines back to the 1800'S but so far I can't find where you can do this with dogs thanks in advance

    This site may help. Add your dog to the database. maybe it parents too. You may then be able to go way back.

    Did you also buy/request a 3 or 5 generation pedigree when you registered your dog with AKC?

    What are the registered names of the sire and dam?

    The sire is Gunner sargeant carter and the dam is La kota carter. I found the sire on the database. the dam is not on there I think i may find the guy we bought Takoda from and ask about her sire and dam.

    What are the prefixes? I'm sure these guys can tell you what all of them mean.
