So sorry for your loss. I lost my dad less than 2 weeks ago! Your RTF friends are a great support system! Glad your mom loved your dogs........just like my dad! Be well and remember all of the good times as those memories will last forever!

During the summer of 2012 at age 82 she played in the park with our young Lab 'Finn' then it was with 'Dooley', she was more active with the dogs than anyone can imagine. Bushmills Irish Whiskey was her favorite drink.....I guess that's what kept her going.

    James,
So sorry to hear this Lad and me heart goes out to ye for the loss of ye Mom. She
sounds as though she was a proud Irish woman, a Daughter of Eireann. I shall raise a glass to her memory tonight and will play "The Parting Glass" on low whistle in tribute to her life. My thoughts and prayers are with ye and ye Mom at this most difficult time. May God keep her in the palm of his hand and bring her peace for eternity. James, take solace in knowing she is no longer in pain.

    Sincere regrets,
    Irishwhistler

Very sorry for your loss. There are very few of us, if any, who have not had our lives touched in some way by cancer. I lost my mother last year and my dad 6 years earlier. So glad you shared something with your mom that gave you both joy. I hope you will find comfort in that each day. Prayers to you and your family as you heal.
