Thread: Which E-Collar is right for me?

  1. #1

Default Which E-Collar is right for me?

I'd like to get a little help from the experts. I'm looking for a fully waterproof collar to train with my lab and to use in the field duck hunting. I would like to keep it around the 200$ or less range. Also I would like the transmitter to be on the small side, so that its easy to have with me in the field.

    Thanks.

I owned Sport dog, Dogtra, and Tritronics. I like the Tritronics the best as they are a consistent and the only thing that gets the attention of my "tank".

Garmin delta has been great. There have been complaints on here about the transmitter size but I like it for hunting. I clip it on my lanyard and dont even notice its there. Highly recommend it. Battery life has been great too.

I was looking at the Garmin. Were the complaints of it being too small or too large? It's hard to tell its size from the pictures.
