    Question what type of roller?

in the paint area they have a lot of types of paint rollers.
for hard wood, for brick and cement, for inside, for outside.

what type and brand of paint roller holds the least amount of drool?

Look for 3/8 OR 1/4 inch nap. Any brand, the cheaper the better if used of training. If used for painting, spend the extra $ for a good one and base the nap on what you are painting.

Depends on where you are training... on a hardwood floor I would use the Hardwood. On a concrete floor... cement roller. If outside I would use the heavier outdoor roller.

I thought that's what the delineations were for....

I'm guessing maybe the short-napped roller or the foam roller? Just skip the roller and go straight to your wooden handled framing hammer Mr. Bora.
