    Default Good Bye Friend

Taking in our old man Duke this morning to be put down. He was a very high strung yellow that never could sit still when on the line but discovered that he was an incredible pheasant dog. We've had to put down our first two dogs in the last three months. Its tough but when its time...

So sorry time. Very sad to hear. And it is especially hard to lose our first dogs.

I'm so sorry. Sounds like he was a good boy.

Sorry for your loss. We lost one this winter too. A sad fact of life with having dogs.

Just got home. Its never easy but he made it hard. He was always heavy on the goofy side and he didn't disappoint again. We were waiting in the grieving room for the vet and he had to knock over the whole container of treats and then bark at the door till Dr Jamie came. I told him if he knew what was coming he might not be so enthusiastic. Thanks for your thoughts. I know all of you know what I'm feeling.
