Thread: Looking for recommendations on a new E-collar.

  1. #1

Default Looking for recommendations on a new E-collar.

I will use it to train and hunt. I am not partial to any one brand. Just wondering what seems to be the popular all purpose collar and why.

    Thanks for the help!

Pro 500 tri tronics. Most adjustable range in both momentary and continuous in a tri tronics collar.

Ok, how about for under $300... Guess I should have said that first.

Try a search. This one gets a lot of "ink".

Ask Lonny and see what he recommends. If you are using him get the same brand so that way you know what level you need to use

Have always been a TT guy but have never been a Garmin fan at all, so next one will most likely be a Dogtra but would consider an Einstien if I had the chance to try one first.

I've used both TT and Dogtra. Both have been excellent for me.
If I had a limit of $300 I wouldn't hesitate in going with a Dogtra. I have a buddy that has used a Dogtra 200NCP Gold for 8 yrs or so, and I believe it cost under $200. It's been tough as nails. Nice collar.

If it means anything, Judy Aycock & Danny Farmer both use TriTronics Pro 100

My previous collars were TT Sport Basic, and then the TT Pro 500. I'm now using Garmin Delta Sport. Love size and feel of new transmitter. No regrets.
