I really hate to ask this because I have been reading puppy food threads for a week, BUT I still can't decide which puppy food and then which adult food..

We had a similiar drive when I picked up mine (jut me and my new wife on the way home from our honeymoon). I brought an old towel and a cardboard box to put him in. He never peed in the box one time on the 2.5 hour drive. He mostly slept. Try not to stop and let him pee where other dogs go. Hit a back road or something where it is not frequented by travelers to keep him from getting things he is not immune to yet. In hindsight, I should have brought a bigger box, I just didnt know a 7 week old puppy was gonna weigh 14 pounds lol!

I have an old cat crate but yea it may be to small.. I may take my old crate from my English setter. I also have a real big one my previous 98lb lab rode in but it won't fit in my Tundra.

I think I will try to just drive straight threw with no stops.. Thanks

    grizzly .....

As to which puppy food .... stick with what the breeder is feeding the pups. Unless you have a really good reason to change (can't find the food in your area) I would continue on what the pups are currently eating. Knowing DR, it will be a good quality food!
