Default Sometimes we miss the simple pleasures

I'm watching the dogs slap jaws and play together this morning and realize how we often get caught up in training, pedigrees and titles and over look the simple things. Just this morning our 3 month BLF discovered she could take her toys upstairs and roll them down then retrieve them and do it again and again and... She also discovered that whistling she hears in the morning and afternoon are divers flying between the rivers and she can watch them fly over.
I'm going to make a much greater effort to notice these small wonders of discovery.

Very well said Sir. Once the little things have been forgotten, there is no joy left in it.

My pup takes whatever up on the couch, drops it and jumps down to get it. He repeats this several times. Some type of game? Great post and observation.

Well said. Watching them run is great, but there's something to be said for having the dog(s) curl up on the bed with you on a cold night.
