The public library down the road is one of the places that I have been using after it closes. It has enough lights that I can train in the dark. We also do short walking singles via snowshoes. All flat throws to keep from burying them in the 3' of snow. I am using all black bumpers also.

I do marks on the local rivers and lakes during the winter. The snow on the ice is never as deep as it is on land and makes for a great area to train in the winter. In some areas the snow is packed down from snowmobile traffic.
