Default Mayor Nagin of New Orleans

Not hearing a whole lot from the MSM on the Nagin's trial for bribery & corruption. here is one story ...
    http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/...im_speaks.html

On Wednesday, a jury found former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin guilty on 20 of 21 counts involving wire fraud, bribery, and other sorts of corruption. Most likely he will be sentenced to 17-22 years, according to experts who are familiar with federal sentencing guidelines.

Does this mean there is not going to be a choco town. He should have been crucified for that comment. Any other politician would have been finished. He got his just reward.

In a straight up race my money would still be on Nagin against any republican. Even if he was in the pen.

That is one I forgot all about. Just threw this statement against the wall, because of my other posting in a thread about OH-17 District and James Traficant. There is always someone which can remember things better.

Thanks for the reminder about him. He was probably the the classic example of voting for a convict.
