My dogs never seemed too put out to ride in the back of a regular old pickup with a shell on it. It's a shame they have to ride in a plastic crate... But they haven't complained about that either. Till they do, that's what we will keep doing.

That's my big rib, shell and plastic kennels. Just don't let them ride up front out of pity. I did and now the wise female feels she's entitled to riding on the center counsel, ribbon or no ribbon.

I don't know about trailers, but one can absolutely finance a truck with a chassis mount or a topper, just like any other car loan. I assume a trailer could be financed via a personal loan or other such.

As for the pros, business loans are pretty darn hard to come by even for successful businesses. They can finance them, and do so through their kennels, but likely will require a personal guarantee.

Wow two whole pages and no one answered the question. Yes you can finance. Some of the manufacturers even have financing just like buying a car. And if you're not trying to keep up with the Jones's you can get a nice rig for a lot less than you think.

tony, go easy on "the puppy truck"! no financing needed. as the old saying goes, "one man's junk is another man's dog truck!"

p.s. this truck is not a true reflection on my wife's business success. though it does sum mine up pretty well.

YES. You can finance almost anything.

I don't have a dog trailer, I have a 3 hole dog box. I paid cash, and considerably less than what most pay.

Yes, you could finance a dog trailer. It would be considered a personal loan just like buying a utility trailer or an enclosed trailer. You will have a good time explaining to your loan officer what exactly a dog trailer is and what you intend to do with it. More than likely, you would have to put the trailer up as collateral depending on credit score, price of the trailer, and your relationship with your financial institution.
