I know a lot of people who have purchased trailers and the like. Many of them worked and saved for years to get what they want and most of the time they started out small used equipment and over the years worked and saved to upgrade. These are the people who really appreciate what they have and take very good care of it. I am not a fan of borrowing, it just slows down the money you have in the future. I am a 'big' Dave Ramsey fan....no debt....it was really hard to get their....had little for a long while....but now that I am their and recently retired, I thank God I got to a cash as you go basis, before it was to late...
My parents taught me years ago, to earn as you go...I was not a good student of this until I got a bit older....but it is the only way to live!
Wealth can be inherited, earned, or stolen. For most in field trials it is earned and/or inherited.

40 years ago we showed up to FT's with a 15yr old half ton PU truck with a 3speed manual transmission with over 150k miles on it, and aluminum Airborne crates in the back
Today , if we were to show up to a FT it would be in a 13yr old 3/4 ton 4x4 PU truck with a topper, and aluminum crates in the back..still have the Airborne but dont use it much
I dont think our dogs know or give a rats behind what vehicle/rig we show up in...They are just happy to be around...Come to think of it so are WE
