Default 1st HEAT CYCLE > "poor boy"

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions (with past experiences) on how to "calm the nerves" of my 3 yo BLM while my 1 yo YLF is in heat ?

    Rip DaDog,

Chemical induced comma for 3 weeks? A vacation to a bitch free zone? Short of that, I don't know of much you can do to ease his obsession.

Send him out to a trainer or kennel. Hopefully, they won't have any females in season there.

Start giving your bitch chlorophyll tablets. It helps mask the scent. It may take some of the edge off

I just went thru this with mine. Went to get my female from training for a month...brought her home and the next day she goes into heat. My 3 yr old male would go almost 3 days and wouldn't eat, a little over a day and wouldn't drink water. He would stare at her from his kennel and shake like he was going into hypothermia. I finally had to call my trainer and he took her back. As soon as she got to the trainer, he said 4 females went into heat. But hey, all was calm at home now!
