Your story hit home with me big time not so long ago. I don't know what to say, except to say sorry and am glad you were there till the end. It gets better with time and then we can reflect on the good times.
    Again....very sorry.

Edit to post: Just to let you know that I cried like a baby and let the whole world know how I felt. Latter that day, Jack and I were very close.
    I understand your pain.

So sorry for your loss. How lucky you each were to have the extra time together, but it is still a heartbreak.

A well written tribute. The relationships you shared with him is what it is all about. Or what it should be about. My condolences on your loss. There is another star in the heavens tonight.

I'm so sorry...Jake sounds like a great dog. It's hard to lose one, but he will be right there in your heart, always.

Always is painful to lose such a loyal companion.
Jake was as lucky to have had you as you were to have him

Bud,who is almost 10, and Cuda who I own are exactly like your dog, Jake. They are your constant shadow and only survive by making you happy. I can understand the pain you are going through. Hopefully, the good times will get you through. Some dogs hearts are so big is is hard to imagine life without them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
