No need to get your panties in a bunch, it was meant to be funny. Cadillac car buyers are typically old men, based on their own surveys, sorry if that offends you.

I thought the commercial was hilarious. Loved it. I think the idea of a hybrid Cadi is questionable, but loved the commercial. "We went to the moon. You know what we got? Bored." And the great thing about it from a marketing standpoint is that they are getting lots of free airplay.

It might be funny if you were a member of the group you are attempting to make fun of.

LOL! A lot of advertising is like that. Remembering the ad and the product is the most important criteria.

I can remember hating the "shake 'n bake" commercial from years ago, and an advertising person reminded me ... even though I hated the ad, I remembered the product ... and that's what was important.

Kind of the same thing with SNL ... I think it used to be better than it is now ... but some of their characters are known to just about everyone on the planet, even if some of those people don't like those characters.

GM (Government Motors) at it's worst....perfect example of why big Government does not work.....just think about the craziness making this product and then using a 'punker' to market it....these kids will never be able to purchase a new car....unless it is proceeds from selling drugs...
