Since all the valid training advice has been given i'm just looking for opportunities to "screw" with someone. Any of you old time trainers with a solid training advice want to volunteer to be "screwed" with? The noobs on their first few dogs get all upset if someone "screws" with them so best to keep it to the old timers....

I'm going to sigh right back here -

    Good gravy!
I personally don't like the lazy sit and that is my right. You have your right to let it happen if you choose and I will respect that.

My 6 year old won't be doing it.

    Paul,
    Bring it!! I'm learning. lol

Once you start obedience, if you get a lazy sit, just lightly step on outside tow till they tuck it under. Forces them to sit square.

"that when she's relaxed and sitting still has a "puppy sit"
mtnKid don't take snippets of a statement and respond. My 6 year old sits square and turns on a dime on a whistle stop. Does my avatar look like she's lazy?
This is why many long time RTFers no longer respond or post.

You gonna run HT's? If so, look me up and don't hesitate to say hi. I got some great tips on using a choke chain in junior....

I am planning on doing some hunt tests so I will look you up. Choke chain ??? in junior ??? Are you ------- with me again?

    Jeff,

You started the "good gravy" thing. I don't even know what your talking about with "snippets", I'm just one that is going to fight back when someone starts slinging at me.
As far as the picture of your dog - she is a very very good looking dog and the way she is sitting is exactly the way I want mine to do.
