You would be suprised where they keep their watches.
It could be something subtile like always clearing your throat just before feeding that you are unaware you do but they know.
Or when you roll over in the morning and toot one, they know you're getting up and it's time for breakfast. Blow a toot at say 10AM and they don't even blink. Ha ha

You should see mine when the school buses start going by. After the first one, they're on alert for the kids to get home soon. They go from relaxed, laid out, dead sleep to on the stomachs and ears twitching at every sound, picking head up at every car...they love their kids...they know feeding time is soon to follow

My neighbor had a BLF had named Molly that had some spooky timing. Denny was a superintendent of a suburban school district. Other neighbors were telling him that Molly was roaming the neighborhood all day . He said, "That can't be. Molly was in the run when I left and she was there when I came home".

Then one day the neighbors caught Molly in the act. When Denny left for work and his car was out of sight, Molly would get up on her doghouse and she was able to launch from there . She cleared the run's fencing. She roamed at will until she saw the first school bus. She would then beeline home, jump up on the garbage cans and into the run. She then feign innocence as she greeted him like her long lost buddy upon his return at the end of the day.

The automatic coffee maker kicks off downstairs at 6:20. They got pretty good noses. They have me up before the alarm goes off at 6:30.
