It had to high of protein for my puppy. She had such bad pain in her joints that she walked like she had broken legs. Switched to the adult Victor that I was feeding my adult dog and she was fine in a couple of days.

I would never use something that has 2% or more calcium for a retriever puppy, you are asking for orthopedic problems both short term (like Back77's pup), and long term, such as elbow dysplasia. Researchers have concluded it is excess calcium and calories that contribute to abnormal bone growth, not protein.
