Better yet, spend it all on getting some of the Marxists out of the Government.....fire the Slave Owners.....

I wish we could fire the whole bunch in DC. We need term limits and no lifetime pensions for these folks that get one or 2 terms and get a salary for life. That goes for all of them. President all the way down. No lifetime salaries. Get out of office and go back to work at a real job.

NOte your word "earned". Lets compare to medicaid "not earned". Lets compare to taxpayer funded OBUMMA CARE credits. Both not earned!

Here we go. Boehner slipped this by on voice only vote on Friday, I believe. It is the first attempt the republicans have made, in a losing battle, to fix Obamacare. Now they have alienated the first percent or two of their base.

Of course Boehner is now saying this is a repeal vote, right. Wait to see if Harry takes it up in the Senate and this will answer the question.

When the Ds talk about the 52 repeal votes in the House, they are including all votes on O-care in the House, among which are several minor changes that also passed in the Senate. Those are mentioned in the article as well:
According to a list maintained by the office of the House Republican whip, Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California, five of the eight previous changes signed by Obama reduced funding; one repealed a minor voucher provision; one jettisoned a section dealing with home care for the elderly; and the other eliminated a tax reporting requirement.
That tax reporting requirement was a big deal. It could have meant small businesses & individuals sending bunches and bunches of 1099s.

While Cooper described the change merely as one of several designed to prevent harm, the episode marks the first time Republicans have agreed to make it easier for anyone to obtain coverage under the law.
Nicely worded. The changes to the law that passed the House made the law less onerous for many people, but that wouldn't count as making it easier to obtain coverage.

    ...

In this case, though, large business organizations that support repeal pressed Republicans to make the change.
"Repealing the annual limitation on deductible would free up an important "lever" that employers need as they struggle to design affordable plans that meet the requirements" of the law, R. Bruce Josten, executive vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, wrote senior lawmakers. He expressed satisfaction with HHS' waiver, yet added, "a more permanent and predictable solution is critical."

Democrats said the now-defunct limitation was inserted into the original law in an unsuccessful attempt to win the vote of former Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine. She supported the bill in the Senate Finance Committee but opposed it on the Senate floor.

    Dang! It was Olympia's fault!

You are exactly right. They just became the straw man. D's can beat the R's any day in a game of politics and they don't even need to wear the dark sunglasses.
