Mine was Roy Gonia Mega Pealess "The Answer" but now its the Dallesasse 5 inch Field Trialer Whistle. i got tired of blowing at the top of my lungs to get the volume and frequency needed

edit should of added at end: at 300+ yards. Inside that and I'd stick to the answer but I don't want to carry two whistles

I like the Pat O'Riordan Traveller in G, my Michael Burke in low F, and my John Sindt whistles in E, Eb, D, C, C#, B, Bb, and A. Oh ya, I also like the Acme 211.5 and the Fox 40.

I've been thinking about trying out the FOX 40 or one of the HAMMERHEADS.

Just don't stand next to me when you blow a fox 40, they really hurt the guy next to you, I like the orange Answer, never had a dog have a problem hearing them, the Dallesasse feels really funny in my mouth.

Still like the original orange and black Roy Gonia, new ones aren't as good, to start a pup . I have a green monster which I use for running water and a Roy Gonia mega. We are going to try a modified storm whistle this spring.

Fox 40 Sonic Blast designed for loud outdoor stadiums. Easy to run quiet or LOUD with inflection and compact for easy carry. (One lives in my jeans' pocket.) Unlike the 40, the blast is baffled forward, away from your and bystander's ears, but you'll still want to cup it megaphone-like when you really get on it.

They come with or without a CMG ("cushioned mouth grip") that I find counterproductive and have removed from mine with it.

If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.
