Default 12 week old pup with very loose stools. Help please

Our 12 week old pup has been having very loose stools for the last 5 days. She had solid stools before that. She is on Pro plan all life stages. Can I give her cooked white rice and chicken for a few days to see if that can clear it up or does she have something that requires a trip to fit. She acts fine otherwise.

Could have any number of things....take her to the vet tomorrow morning and find out what's bothering her for sure.
When it stops being fun, I will find something else to do with my time and money.

if its dark and runny it's likely (cock-sid-ee-uh). 5 days runny is a long time for 12 eek old. go to vet!

IF (and only if) you know how to check for dehydration and your puppy is well hydrated, you can leave your puppy home and take a fecal sample to your vet. That way you don't have to wait for an appointment, and you reduce your puppy's exposure to sick dogs.

Definitely get it checked out pronto. Parasites like coccidia can kill a puppy.

I am not a vet, but it sounds like a parasite to me.

VET. Could be a number of things but they will likely look for parasites first. In the past couple mos, my litters have found giardia and now yesterday, 2 in my 7 wk old litter found Campylobacter. Spring is horrible for all these things! What kind of a parasite control program is your vet suggesting?

Make sure you bring a fresh stool sample with you when go to the vet and make sure they check for both coccidia and giardia.
