Default My New Doctors is Glad to Have Me as a Customer

Since I purchased my health insurance through the exchange with Humana, and it requiring me to stay in network, I had to find a new doctor. I hit a homerun yesterday when I saw my doctor for the first time. She was part of a large family practice that had 11 doctors, and she began telling me they had an office closer to me if I perfered it, then she explained their hours and how I could see any of their doctors on the weekends and late in the day, if I had a medical need that could not wait. They did my blood test there instead of sending me across town to a third party. It was the most positive doctor experience I have had in 30 years. She wanted my business and wanted to earn and keep it.

She clearly had no problem with me or my insurer! And I am thrilled with the care and service I recieved!!!

Not really...didn't really know him. I was always referred to a specialist. He was good at that.

Glad one of Obama's many lies surrounding the ACA has worked in your favor, unfortunately thats not the case to a whole lot of other folk.

This little phrase can determine your future opinion. Glad your 1st date went well.

So your new Doctor is already closer to you than the old one?
And the new one does everything, where as the old one always refferred you to specialist?

    Interesting.

menmon...Glad you like her, good for you! That is important, but are you somehow trying to tie a good experience with a good Doctor to Obamacare? I don't recall anyone suggesting that Obamacare would force people to only 'bad doctors'. As already noted, the key is you were forced to a new doctor, which in fact Obama repeatedly said would not happen!

By the way, ,menmon congrats on your continuing success with you dogs.....that is something you seem to really do well....

Glad you had a good experience. I am SURE your new doctor would be glad that you gave her name and the location of her practice. Also I am sure your former doctor would be glad that you mention him also. That way he might not have as many calls from people that he will not treat.

How about it menmon. Who are they?

I think you will find that they have fewer specialists to refer you to when you need it. If and when you do need to go out of network, you have zilch. Good luck with your coverage. Please do let us hear you crow when you get your rate increase.
