Since I purchased my health insurance through the exchange with Humana, and it requiring me to stay in network, I had to find a new doctor. I hit a homerun yesterday when I saw my doctor for the first time. She was part of a large family practice that had 11 doctors, and she began telling me they had an office closer to me if I perfered it, then she explained their hours and how I could see any of their doctors on the weekends and late in the day, if I had a medical need that could not wait. They did my blood test there instead of sending me across town to a third party. It was the most positive doctor experience I have had in 30 years. She wanted my business and wanted to earn and keep it.
She clearly had no problem with me or my insurer! And I am thrilled with the care and service I recieved!!!
