Open water in the metro. Little to no snow from Arden Hills south. North of North Branch won't see brown till mid week at best. Had 20 inches at the farm in Hinckley. Good news is water is out flowing all of the ponds and ducks everywhere.

Keith in this case I really don't see where fans would make any difference, box is not insulated, there are jail bars all the way through fro air flow, when parked if the back is open and both side doors are flipped up you can't get any better air flow than that, I don't believe fans blowing ambiant air temperature into a crate do anything but make the human feel better, we feel cooler when in front of a fan because the air is drying perspiration on our skin, but dogs don't sweet like we do so unless you have a way to cool the air your blowing at them it really is doing no good, one thing I did do was frame out a piece of 2" foam to sit in between the topper and the box this should shield the box if I were to have to park in the sun rather than the shade. And if were traveling and it's terribly hot and there not getting the air flow needed I'll just put them in the backseat with the AC going, they ride well together went on a little road trip with a buddy this winter, traveled 200 miles before he realised they were back there.. Scared the crap out of him when one of them licked his ear...

I'll be the odd man out and voice a little consern with the design.
I cant see what else is inside the holes but the welded jail bars and maybe the door latch present a hazard to some dogs. Ideally the entire interior should be smooth and free of protrusions.
An excited dog, maybe scratching and digging, can be injured on the exposed bits.
