    Default Weather!! GDG

For those of you that have been complaining about winter, I'll trade right now!! It was 109 degrees in the shade today!!! It is 7:00 PM and STILL 100!!!

Sometimes it makes me wonder why folks ever settled this area.

Had to take the long way home from the hunt test today. Snow pack on the pass, 50 mph winds, sleet, rain and misery at the test. Now home, a low tonight of 19, more snow and more wind. I am so ready to head east!!!!!

You will have to come north to Strathroy Ontario. Yesterday trained all day. Temp around 40F, strong wind, no water. Today actually higher 50F. Did water later in the day. Great fun. Weather has been disappointing and the Farmers Almanac says entire summer could be cooler and ? damp?

It was just horrible here yesterday, and we had a hunt test going on. I learned that the rear view mirror makes a good coat hanger, and if you get the defrost going full blast your rain drenched rain coat might dry out in 10 or 20 minutes.

Horrible horrible conditions. Even in breathable and insulated rain gear I felt cold and damp the whole day.

Hats off to the hired and volunteer help at all of these stakes that persevere in the heat, in the rain, in the cold, and various permutations thereof.

I have been pretty happy with the weather other than the devils breath that keeps making me snot all over the place. I wonder if I can write off Zyrtec D on my taxes. I don't think that I could train without it.
