Default Great Day at Essex HRC

The test was held at Jack Miner's Bird Sanctuary in Essex Ontario. My pup Mickey got his first Started pass and Tar a finished pass!

Had a really great time though in spite of the rain. Nice people. While waiting for my turn toured the Sanctuary, the museum and house and went wine testing. Although I don't drink I bought a bottle of CDN made wine for my friend who turns 60 in June.

The area is a bevy of tourist attractions. It is what I call the Banana belt of Ontario. But they did have a terrible winter this past season so maybe not the banana belt?.

Food served by the Essex group for lunch and dinner was great and all FREE. They had a raffle and as usual I came up with nothing?? If you are looking for an HRC event come here as next year I believe they want to have both days at this site!!!

Many thanks to the judges for standing out there in the rain and the rain was a good portion of the day.

On the way home I was surprised to see Wind Turbine farms in the area. Our politicians have passed a Green Energy Act and these are the political rage right now! Picture does not do justice to the actual number and size of this farm.

Yes I saw Jim and I remember her. Once she went she was okay! He had quite a few dogs and some good dogs there. All passed. Water is still cold. She will get over it! Can't go today have to work!
