Default First green ribbon was awesome

I'm one of those guys that a green ribbon made my weekend. We still have a lot of work to do, but Colby finished his first qualifying stake to get a JAM. Damn. It's like a drug now. All I can think about is how to work out a couple of issues and get in the color next time. What's even cooler is all the handlers pulling for each other.

I was shooting the flyer for the AM. What was surprising to me was hearing several handlers in the amateur all-age pulling for another dog that just needed one more point to get its AFC. Unfortunately it got a RJ, but the people were all a pleasure to be around. I wish that old fluffy dog the best of luck.

Many, many FTers...love the dogs. That is the main reason they play..

Good for you, keeping an open mind! For sure, try again!!
A green in a Q is very good. Takes a decent dog and decent training.

Congrats! I was telling the story about my first derby jam this morning. Now we've run a couple of Ams and hoping to see a ribbon there.
