I'm so sorry, Greg. Really hurts to lose them. Grand life and great times you had together. Godspeed, Gunner, good boy.

    Greg,

I am sorry for your loss. I hope in time the memories of the good times will outweigh the pain of your loss.

Well, this started off as a really interesting thread. Too bad we couldn't keep it that way. (Rick_C 2009, Classic RTF)

Greg, so very sorry to read about your loss of Gunner. I'm fortunate to have a Gunner pup who's birthday is today and she is 6 years old. Beautiful tribute. Rest in peace Gunner, your baby girl Koko sends kisses!

Greg, First of all let me say I am so sorry you had to let Gunner go, it is so difficult to lose them at any age. They take a piece of your heart when they leave us but their memories sustain us till we meet them again. Over the years I have been on this forum, I have read about your journey with Gunner and when I saw the title of your thread, my heart sank. I have never met you nor Gunner, but being a chocolate dog fan I always thought he was such a handsome boy and I have heard good things about his progeny. You have every right to be proud of him. Your Avatar picture of him always made me think he was the model for Jim Killen's "That's my dog too" chocolate lab picture....something about the eyes.......

Rest in Peace Gunner....you did good.... may all your birds be flyers!

    With Sympathy,
    Earlene
