    We've got a researcher at the vet school here; has developed a scoring system trying to see if there's a correlation with conformation/structure and a predisposition to CCL injury should be published this year; pretty interesting stuff, they're even looking at ways to change the gate of dogs who might have a predisposition to such injury. However I don't think HD was focused on as an attributing cause; of course it could have an impact with certain dogs; but I think there's more to it a lot of dog that get CCL tears, that have good hips. Alas nothings ever simple.

    OFA mild is a bummer, but at least you know. Forewarned forearmed
